Large international corporations often buy high-quality Tunisian olives and oils, mixing them with lower-grade “rest” olives. This process dilutes the unique characteristics and quality of the oil while driving down prices for hardworking olive farmers, both in Tunisia and across Europe.

Intransparant Supplychains
Current Olive supplychains are intransparant and difficult to trace. This means a lower price for the olive farmer and lovers of Extra Virgine Olive Oil (EVOO) are not getting the worth for their buck.

Blending ruins genuine mixes
The Olive Oil from Tunisia is largely exported to enormous ''olive oil'' companies from the European Union, who use our traditional oil to mix it with their own oils. Often times, Tunisian Olive Oil is mixed with far lesser oils bringing down the overal quality (and respect).

Unsustainable
Current, large scale ''Olive Oil'' factories are a silly game where everyone loses. The farmers losing economic opportuntities, the consumer who loses sight of quality EVOO and to make everything worse: all the energy consumption and lost transport moves are a big burden on global CO2 emissions.
At Trust Me Habibi we are directly involved with our supplychain partners, farmers and local communities. We don't want to simply source our precious product and leave, we want to to give back. We will start investing in Solar Energy on our own family run farm starting in 2026.
