Cousins Mahmoud Khaled and Omar Hamouda, raised in Tunisia and The Netherlands, share a bond that transcends borders. From their childhood adventures (like pictured here in Monastir, Tunisia, 1994) to their shared vision today, they are united by a passion for traditional quality. Together, they bring you the finest Tunisian olive oil—crafted with tradition, care, and unparalleled quality.

Trusting Habibi's, habibi
Back in 2021, we discovered that Tunisian olive oil, despite its exceptional quality, was often overlooked or undervalued. Large quantities were shipped in bulk to Europe, where they were blended with other olives and oils, losing their distinct character. Determined to change this, Mahmoud and Omar rallied their friends and family to create Trust Me Habibi, an effort dedicated to showcasing the unparalleled quality of Tunisian olive oil on the global stage. And have fun doing so.
Our mission is twofold: to deliver premium, authentic Tunisian olive oil to the world while uplifting the rural communities where it’s sourced, like the greater El Jem area in the Mahdia Governorate of mid-western Tunisia. By celebrating our heritage and supporting our family’s roots, we’re making an impact where it matters most.

Our production facility
Starting October 2026, our olive oil will be crafted at our family-owned factory, where we carefully source olives from local groves, including our own, in the greater El Jem area. We'll still use only the distinctive Chemlali olive, prized for its unique flavor. The factory is proudly managed by our uncles, Fethi and Lotfi Bannouri, ensuring every bottle reflects our commitment to quality and tradition. We're looking forward into transitioning into this exciting new chapter together with our own family, and together embody TMH's quality and mission.
What is TMH Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)?
TMH EVOO — Trust Me Habibi Extra Virgin Olive Oil — combines a full, rich body with the subtly distinctive flavour of the Chemlali olive. Organically sourced and crafted to the highest industry standards, it's a versatile oil suited for both cold and warm preparations.
Explain EVOO?
Extra Virgin Olive Oil should be cold-pressed, unrefined, and bursting with the natural character of the olive. The problem? Most bottles labelled EVOO on supermarket shelves are anything but — blended with cheaper oils, poorly stored, or simply mislabelled. Food fraud in the olive oil industry is rampant.

We're obsessed with it. From organically grown olives to responsible production practices, sustainability sits at the core of TMH EVOO. No harmful chemicals. No environmental shortcuts. Just honest farming, done the right way — for the land, for the olive, and for you. Besides this we are also investing in solar energy on our family-run farm, with future developments in battery storage.
Because great olive oil shouldn't cost the earth. Literally.
Are you shipping worldwide?
Yes. Our products are stored in The Netherlands, close to Utrecht (NL), after being carefully sourced & produced in Tunisia. This means that typically any bottle in the EU should take between 1-2 weeks shipping time, where US shipments might take a bit longer. The bottles are shipped in safe-packaging and strong (black) glass. After use the bottle is perfectly
recyclable for the glass bin or new use.
